Kids hip-hop, a vibrant and energetic dance style, combines dynamic movements with lively music to create a fun and expressive experience that not only promotes physical activity but also nurtures creativity and self-confidence in young dancers.

LESSON FLOW

  • Start with basics: focus on building a strong foundation of technique and skills that children can build upon as they progress 

  • Fun and playful exercises: activities like improvisation, group work, and creative movement exercises

  • Creativity encouragement: an exploration of kids' own style and movement, self-expression in a unique way 

  • Age-appropriate context: focus on the movements that are appropriate to the child's skill level

  • Positive and supportive environment: we provide a safe space for kids to express themselves freely!

WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothes that do not restrain movement (leggings or sports pants, T-shirts or free tops)

  • Indoor sneakers

  • Water

  • Face towel


We recommend layering, especially in cooler seasons.

It is advisable to dance hip-hop in shoes for better contact with the floor, but dancing in socks or barefoot is acceptable.
