GREETINGS

¡Hola! I'm Victor, a Puerto Rican Salsa instructor with over eight years of teaching experience and a lifelong connection to dance. I grew up between New York and Boston, surrounded by music and movement from an early age. Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue were part of everyday life—played at family gatherings, community events, and social dances—so learning to dance was as natural as learning to walk. Those early experiences shaped not only my style, but my belief that dance is about feeling, connection, and culture.

In addition to my dance background, I served 15 years in the United States Army. During deployments, dance became a powerful way to bring people together. I taught soldiers Salsa and Bachata in whatever space was available, using music and movement to build morale, reduce stress, and create moments of joy. Those experiences strongly influence how I teach today: with patience, adaptability, and a focus on real connection.

My classes specialize in East Coast Club Salsa, emphasizing strong fundamentals, musicality, and versatility on the social dance floor. I place a strong focus on improvisation and emotion, helping students move beyond memorized patterns and into authentic expression. Whether you are new to Salsa or refining your skills, my goal is to help you dance with confidence, intention, and heart—so every dance feels personal, expressive, and alive.
