LESSON FLOW

  • Centering and Grounding Practice: Begin by nurturing a conscious awareness of your body and mind by engaging in simple mental exercises and breathing practices. You will be guided through the basic principles of yoga practice, which will help you in your intention setting.

  • Warm-Up: Transition into a warm-up that incorporates gentle stretches and movements to awaken the body. Focus on releasing tension in the neck, shoulders, and spine, preparing both physically and mentally for the practice ahead.

  • Main Flow: Move through a series of postures (asanas) integrated in a mindful breath flow, to promote strength, flexibility, and body coordination; and to enhance mind-body connection. In this class, we will emphasize proper alignment to ensure a safe and effective practice.

  • Preparation for Relaxation: Focus on stress-relieving poses that target common areas of tension, such as the neck, shoulders, lower back, and hips. Promote a sense of relaxation through mindful breath.

  • Relaxation: End with a calming relaxation (savasana) to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Practice easy meditation techniques to foster a harmonious balance within yourself.



We all start somewhere, and if you're new to yoga, this class is the perfect place to begin your journey towards a healthier, happier you, and to learn the fundamentals of yoga. In this class, Zhenya will take you through foundational yoga poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises designed to help you build strength, flexibility, and inner peace.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothes that do not restrain movement (leggings or yoga pants, sports bra for women, T-shirts or tops)

  • Water

  • Face towel


We recommend layering, especially in cooler seasons.

Yoga gear will be provided, but feel free to bring your items.


IMPORTANT

Please refrain from chewing gum, and wearing any type of jewelry and wristwatch during your practice. Please also set your mobile phone to silent mode.
