I want to thank everyone who supported our project with a donation via CampFire! During the past month, we have collected ¥211,000. According to the CampFire rules, the studio will receive ¥171,543 on June 30th. This money will partly be used to create rewards for our bakers. The rest we will use for studio improvement.

Rewards
There are two types of rewards that we need to prepare: "Thank you" cards and original T-shirts. Do you also feel giving a gift is more rewarding than getting one? I find it so exciting! I cannot wait to write the first address on our postal card. It feels like YODA meets the world.
As for the T-shirts, I am thrilled with the idea of getting our first batch of YODA T-shirts! I am a bit nervous about the colour matching. YODA green is quite a unique colour.
Improvements
Let me outline the list of improvements that remain to be done:
Air conditioner
This is the heaviest one. Quite literally, too! The specifics of our contract are that we must install the external air conditioner unit on the roof of the building. We are lucky enough to be on the second floor of a two-storey building. But this nuance makes the whole installation process more cumbersome – and expensive.
Signage
The good news is that our signboard and adhesive films are already printed. The bad news is that the nice-looking electrician I contacted for the installation asked 10,000 per film to stick them on a glass pane. This is not how I imagine small businesses helping each other. This time again, we will end up with some heavy DIY (see my posts on how we have been repairing the studio).
Isolation
I love our entrance door, which can be opened both ways. But his structure means gaps and the gaps mean heat and humidity in summer and cold in winter. We will need to fix it before merciless Japanese summer announces itself.
Furnitures
So far, most of our furniture is made of pine boards which used to be the studio's flooring. But this cannot continue forever, and we will eventually need to purchase furniture. What is missing now is the furniture behind the reception desk, where we plan to install the kettle. We need storage for customers' clothes in the changing room. And ideally, a more capacious shoe rack. Then, I will consider the studio fully equipped.
Light equipment
Oh, not just yet. How could I forget? Our fantastic dance instructor plans to make professional choreography videos of our dancing customers. She will need some LED lights to make her films stunning.
We still have a lot of work to do (and many blog posts to share!).
Stay tuned for our updates!
